Designed to make a statement, this unique cake stand is a celebration of Britain's native timbers. The design combines a round sycamore top with a square base with softly rounded edges, made from London plane, a timber with a beautifully-textured 'lacewood' grain.
Each cake stand is handcrafted in our West London workshop using wood locally sourced from trees felled due to weather-related incidents or urban development. The GPS coordinates of where the original tree once stood are stamped on the underside of each serving board - to keep you connected to its history.
The Graze limited edition cake stand - small, is part of the Graze collection, our new line of contemporary serveware available exclusively at Selfridges and Goldfinger. Shop the full collection here.
Graze - definition: to feed on growing grass and pasturage; to eat lightly throughout the day.
Diameter 300mm x Height 105mm
We hope you enjoy your cake stand for years to come. To take the best care of it, rinse it with warm water, wipe clean and dry immediately. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water. Every couple of months, feed with a food-safe oil to protect the wood. Apply oil with a cloth and remove excess with a clean cloth and leave to dry for 48 hours. Do not over apply. Follow these guidelines and your bowl will have a long and happy life.
