Are you an aspiring woodworker looking to craft your first piece of furniture? Join us for this full day intensive course, to make a tabletop bookcase for your home using beautiful solid wood offcuts from our workshop.

Under the expert tutelage of Goldfinger’s in-house Designer Maker, Daniele Barco, you will be introduced to the basics of furniture making, learning the techniques needed to construct and assemble your very own bookcase. The piece will be constructed using a variety of reclaimed timber offcuts of your choosing, giving your bookcase heaps of character and a unique history.

You will use a variety of hand tools and drills to create the bookcase, making small decisions along the way to add a touch of finesse to the final piece. You will also be introduced to using a hand drill and chop saw, as well as some traditional hand tools, equipping you with a range of skills to continue your woodworking journey.

This workshop is suitable for adults over the age of 18, with limited or no woodworking experience. Capacity is limited to 4 people.

Saturday 11 February, 9am – 5.30pm

Goldfinger, 10-15 Golborne Road, W10 5NY
