Sam Petherbridge is an artist and designer whose recent creative journey began using one very common material, paper. This medium initially influenced a body of collage during his BA in Fine Art at the University West of England, and more recently has developed within the practice of-bookbinding, because it incorporates his two passions, design and craft. Sam runs a small business called Bōk Bindery and in the studio, is focussed on Paper making, collage, and drawing. In 2017 Sam Petherbridge was an artist in residence at Campos de Guiterrez, in Colombia. In 2019 he also collaborated with poets and directed a show and program at the APT Gallery, in South East London.
