In 2021, we auctioned the opportunity to work with our team to create a bespoke chair, raising money for the Goldfinger Academy. We worked with the lucky winner to create timeless lounge chairs for her living room, giving new life to a cherry tree that had fallen on her land in Devon.
Featuring a softly shaped backrest and sloping seat finely handwoven with Danish cord, we created a pair of elegant lounge chairs designed for comfort and relaxation.
Now available to purchase as part of our made-to-order furniture collection, the Vale lounge chair will feel at home in both traditional and contemporary spaces.
A cherry tree had recently fallen on our client's land in Devon. We repurposed this timber to craft the chair's frame, giving a second life to a beloved tree that would otherwise be wasted. This was paired with a seat handwoven from Danish cord, a long-lasting and durable material, designed to be passed down from one generation to the next.
Crafted by hand in our West London workshop, the natural wood grain and rich cherry hue bring warmth to this beautiful light-filled corner of our client's Georgian townhouse.
