Sumi is an award-winning Japanese restaurant in Notting Hill, from sushi master Endo Kazutoshi. Located on Westbourne Grove, the recently renovated restaurant is just a stone's throw away from our furniture workshop, where each stool was made.
An elegant, elevated design, these barstools marry bold, modern forms with traditional craftsmanship. Initially made as bespoke pieces for Sumi, the Canopy barstool is now available made-to-order in a variety of sustainably-sourced British timbers.
Boasting a seat finely handwoven with Danish cord, these bar stools are designed with comfort in mind.
The rounded dowel frame creates a playful, chunky silhouette, while the generous seat and softly rounded backrest add an extra touch of luxurious comfort.
