Planet-positive design
The UK is currently the second-largest net importer of timber in the world, just after China.
Every year, we import billions of pounds - and countless carbon miles - worth of wood, while the trees on our doorstep go to waste.
We want to change that - supporting our homegrown woodlands and creating sustainable furniture that treads lightly on the planet.
Locally crafted
Sustainability is - and always has been - at the heart of our business. We are committed to making furniture designed to last a lifetime, with low-to-no impact on the environment.
We design and make each piece of furniture right here in Britain, from locally-sourced and certified-sustainable timbers, cutting down on the travel miles between where the tree was grown, and where it finds its home.
Whether it’s a bespoke concept or a design that’s ready to be made, we bring it to life through responsible manufacturing.
Ethically sourced
We offer our clients a carefully-considered choice of responsibly-sourced timbers with the lowest carbon footprint possible.
This includes timber sourced from certified sustainable labels, such as Grown in Britain, as well as our signature Treecycled timber, repurposed from locally-felled trees.
With traceable local provenance, we take pride in stamping the tree's precise GPS coordinates on our Treecycle pieces.
We work with an array of beautiful British timbers - from the classic oak and timeless walnut to cherry, London plane, elm and more unique species that can be found on our doorstep.

Saving London's felled trees
We measure our success in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Rescuing London's felled trees
London is home to the world’s largest urban forest, with plans in place to more than double the city's tree canopy by 2050.
At the same time, thousands of mature trees are felled every year in London due to weather, urban development or disease - and most are needlessly chipped and burned for biofuel.
We put this wood to good use by giving it a new life as timeless furniture. We call this Treecycling ™.
Designing with Treecycled timber helps us to
Preserve London's urban forest
By making the most of the trees on our doorstep, we encourage the sustainable management and growth of London’s canopy
Support local biodiversity
This in turn helps nurture habitats and maintain a thriving, balanced ecosystem right here in the city
Reduce carbon emissions
Treecycled timber locks in the carbon stored by mature trees and generates far fewer emissions than virgin wood
Celebrating natural heritage
When working with Treecycled wood, we ensure an incredibly close degree of material traceability - pinpointing the exact GPS coordinates of where the original tree once stood.
Every tree has a unique history that should be celebrated. Our furniture honours their story.
That’s why we’ve taken to stamping these coordinates on our Treecycle collections and bespoke commissions.
