People’s Kitchen

We’re fighting social isolation and food poverty through our charitable initiative, serving tasty meals to vulnerable members of our community.

60 beneficiaries

receive nutritious, restaurant-quality meals on the third Sunday of every month, served by our friendly volunteers.

11,002 meals

have been prepared and served to our beneficiaries in our local community.

50 volunteers

are part of our community; cooking and serving meals (and friendly chats) during each service.

How you can make an impact

We need your support

Donate tasty meals

You can support us by purchasing meal vouchers via our online shop. For each £5 donated, you will fund a delicious restaurant-quality meal for a local resident in need; plus additional activities to lift the spirits such as live music and cooking demonstations. For £25, you can feed a family of 5.

Having meals delivered to me now is very important because it keeps my morale up and makes me feel like I haven't been forgotten.

It helped me to be more understanding of what people’s personal circumstances were during the pandemic, and how important community is to those who fall into the ‘vulnerable and at risk’ category.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend others getting involved and supporting where they can.
