Whistles is a contemporary British fashion brand, creating timeless pieces with an intelligent sense of design and an emphasis on quality and longevity.

In 2019, we partnered with Whistles to create installations for their Christmas window displays across the world, communicating a message of sustainability and inclusivity.

Global reach

Whistles commissioned us to design and make 610 reusable plywood Christmas trees, handcrafted by our artisans. These were displayed in 53 Whistles stores across London, New York, Hong Kong and Zurich. 

High impact trees

Whistles then sold the flat-pack trees to their customers, as a sustainable alternative to a traditional Christmas tree, to be stored away and reused year after year.

We were inspired by Goldfinger's ethics and passion for circular economy and wanted to curate a window concept for Christmas across all Whistles standalone stores that portrayed these key messages.

Supporting Goldfinger Academy

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the trees were donated to our Goldfinger Academy, funding free craft courses and training for our local community.

SEE OUR IMPACT

They created a fabulous adaptable product that was both beautiful in store and easy for customers to take home for the price of donation - ensuring there was zero waste and that we were creating something that would be much loved and have a long life.
