With a striking black finish, and bold, yet minimal, form, the Goldfinger + Tate stool is full of modern character.
A design that’s versatile by nature, this stool works equally as seating for our Tate + Goldfinger dining table, or as a standalone accent piece.
The contemporary, chunky legs offer a playful contrast to the stool’s slim seat, creating a distinctive, eye-catching silhouette.
The stool is crafted entirely from solid British ash, sourced from local trees felled to control the spread of ash dieback. The GPS coordinates of where the original trees once stood proudly displayed on the seat, connecting you to the timber’s natural heritage.
The Goldfinger + Tate collection references two of London's most iconic buildings - Tate Modern, formerly the Bankside Power Station, and West London’s brutalist Trellick Tower, home to our workshop where the pieces were made.
As seen in Corner, at Tate Modern, the collection was collaboratively designed by Goldfinger, Tate and Holland Harvey.
