Kickstart: Marketing and Showroom Assistant

As part of the government’s Kickstart Scheme, we are looking for an energetic and organised team member who is passionate about marketing, retail, customer service and sustainability to join us for a period of at least 6 months. 

With support and leadership from the Head of Retail & Creative,  you will support us in marketing and social enterprise and supporting the expansion of our retail platform.

This role is a fixed term 6 month contract, with possibility of extension. In order to be eligible for this role, you must be aged 16-24 and receive universal credit.

Finance Manager

We are looking for a talented and professional Finance Manager to lead Goldfinger’s day-to-day financial functions and develop effective long-term strategies as we embark on our next chapter of rapid growth.

With a relevant accounting background, you will have an excellent understanding and experience of financial planning, demonstrable experience and ability using computerised accounting software/databases, bookkeeping and Excel to an advanced level.

This is an exciting time to join Goldfinger and our small but mighty team of creatives and would suit a well organised individual with a high level of attention to detail, able to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial staff, and skills in prioritising your own workload, working proactively and collaboratively.

Community Outreach Programme Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver our outreach activities. The Community Outreach Programme Officer will develop and implement initiatives that increase company impact and engagement with the surrounding community, ensuring that local voices help shape Goldinger’s commitment to alleviating food poverty and isolation in the Golborne Ward, as well as equip young learners to be the sustainably-minded designers of the future, through craftsmanship courses and apprenticeships. 

Reporting to the Head of Community Impact & Partnerships, you will be responsible for delivering our core impact programmes.

Alongside this you will be working on reporting our impact, working with stakeholders to grow and nurture relationships with volunteers and key partners and supporting with fundraising.

Designer and Maker

We are looking to hire a freelance furniture Designer & Maker to work with us from time to time in our Workshop.

This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing, creative product and furniture business with an ethical, sustainable design focussed, Design and Production team and would suit a talented individual with experience of designing and making products in solid wood.

Working alongside our resident designer-maker, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks and projects including making bespoke fine furniture as well as small batch products, presenting projects to clients on and off site, creating technical drawings using CAD and maintaining a tidy workshop.

Head of Sales & Business Development

We are seeking an energetic and driven individual to lead the strategy for the bespoke division of Goldfinger. The focus of the role is to help us set and achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This role will be responsible for maximising our sales potential, crafting sales plans and articulating those plans to the senior management team. 

The role involves identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The main responsibility is to generate sales leads, drive a sales engagement, and develop project briefs with the clients. This role would suit a candidate with experience in design or furniture making, looking to make an impact within a sustainable, values-led organisation.
