How commissioning works

We love working with our clients to bring their furniture design dreams to life. Expect creativity, expertise and sustainable results, no matter how ambitious your project.

1. A collaborative brief

We work with you to find out every detail of your project, including materials, measurements and timelines, and if necessary, hold a meeting to discuss your needs. Once we’ve got all the information, we make you a transparent quote.

2. Developing your design

Our in-house designers start with sketches and take you along the journey to full CAD drawings and models. At this stage, we request a 20% design fee which is redeemable against the final cost of the project.

3. Selecting the right materials

We’ll recommend the best options from a range of sustainable, low-carbon timber and finishes for your design, letting you know if your choice affects your initial quote.

4. Producing your piece

Once a final design and quote has been agreed, and you’ve paid a 50% deposit, our artisans bring your design to life. During the design process, we welcome you to visit our Trellick Tower workshop to see your furniture being made and meet the maker. Lead time is 12-16 weeks from receipt of your deposit.

5. Seamless delivery and installation

We’ll plan a smooth delivery and installation of your bespoke piece, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your new sustainably-crafted furniture.
