Designed to fit perfectly with our Goldfinger + Tate dining table, this bench champions purity of form.
The light-weight, minimal seat sits atop chunky legs, softened by gently rounded edges. The bench’s bold, black finish creates a sleek, modern profile that will easily feel at home in design-led spaces.
The bench is crafted entirely from solid British ash, sourced from local trees felled to control the spread of ash dieback. The GPS coordinates of where the original trees once stood proudly displayed on the seat, connecting you to the timber’s natural heritage.
The Goldfinger + Tate collection references two of London's most iconic buildings - Tate Modern, formerly the Bankside Power Station, and West London’s brutalist Trellick Tower, home to our workshop where the pieces were made.
As seen in Corner, at Tate Modern, the collection was collaboratively designed by Goldfinger, Tate and Holland Harvey.
